When I started writing Forbidden love I was 19 years old. I spent 21 years putting it to one side then starting again when my style of writing changed. Suddenly and very quickly I was in my forties and I thought to myself how much I would regret it if I lay on my death bed having never completed the book. I therefore started it completely from scratch and quickly became lost in the characters. It really turned into the most enjoyable thing I ever did, even if I never sell a single book. You live and breathe the characters, my daughter called them my imaginary friends haha. What I am trying to say is, if you have a dream then pursue it; you only get one life and sometimes it is over much quicker than we anticipated xxx
